Peatland Restoration Training Day Held in Cloghan, Co. Donegal.
CP Farmers and ACRES Donegal staff recently gathered in Cloghan for a peatland restoration training event, where participants completed practical training for their peatland restoration actions and saw a range of restoration measures demonstrated on the ground.
Update for Participants on Both Approaches of the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES).
ACRES participants are advised of two important updates from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine: the opening of the 2025 Conservation of Rare Breeds declaration portal and the deadline for submitting 2026 Non-Productive Investment (NPI) Annual Works Plans. Farmers and advisors should take note of the key dates and requirements outlined.
